Word 转 PDF 的常见用法与效果边界
最常用的是「定稿防改」。简历、合同、报价单、投标材料发给对方之前，转成 PDF 可以防止版式在对方电脑上错位或被无意编辑。合同类材料建议转换后先打开核对一遍再发出。
转换效果如何。正文、段落、表格、图片、页边距都会保留，与本地 Word「另存为 PDF」高度一致；但个别依赖本机私有字体、SmartArt 或复杂图表的文档可能出现细微版式差异——重要材料请以转换后的打开效果为准。
格式与大小限制。支持 .docx（Word 2007 及以后）与旧版 .doc（Word 97-2003），旧版 .doc 可以直接转换，不必先在 Word 里另存。单文件上限 20MB，超过请拆分文档或压缩其中图片。

Every other tool on this site processes locally in your browser and your files never leave the machine; but turning Word into PDF needs a layout engine to render the pages, and a pure browser cannot reach the same fidelity - so this tool is one of the upload exceptions. The uploaded file serves this one conversion only: not stored, not retained, deleted the moment the conversion finishes, and seen by no one.
Highly consistent, but pixel-perfect identity is not guaranteed: body text, paragraphs, tables, images and margins are kept; documents leaning on fonts installed only on your machine or on complex field codes (SmartArt, some charts) can show subtle layout differences. For important material, open the result and check it before use.
Both .docx (Word 2007 and later) and legacy .doc (Word 97-2003) work, and the old .doc converts directly - no need to re-save it in Word first. The cap is 20MB per file; beyond it, split the document or compress the pictures inside.
Common documents take seconds to a dozen or so; many pages or big images can stretch to about a minute and a half. A document with an open password cannot be converted - remove the password first. If a conversion fails, the page says why, and your original file stays untouched.
