Nothing is uploaded. Randomness comes from the browser's cryptographically secure generator crypto.getRandomValues (CSPRNG), produced entirely locally with no network requests; the passwords vanish when you reload the page and are never stored anywhere.
Estimate = length times log2 of the character-set size, i.e. entropy bits - bigger is harder to brute force: under 40 weak, 40-59 medium, 60-89 strong, 90 and above very strong. The estimate assumes every character is equally likely and independent; if a site demands certain character classes, just tick those sets to satisfy it.
0/O, 1/l/I and | look nearly identical and are mistyped or misread when entering by hand. Turning it on removes them from the pool - the pool shrinks slightly and entropy dips a hair, but mistyping drops.
