Word / PPT / Excel 的排版只有真正的文档引擎（本站在一次性容器里跑 LibreOffice）才能保真渲染，浏览器做不到，所以这一步文件会上传：只用于这一次转换，转换完成立即删除、不写入数据库、不留存、不上传到任何第三方。
PDF 一回到你的标签页，后续的清晰度选择、逐页渲染、打包 zip、拼长图全部在本地用 pdf.js + canvas 完成。PDF 不会再上传，处理完关掉页面即从内存消失。

输出是位图，不是矢量。每页渲染成固定像素的图片，放大到一定程度会发虚；要无限放大仍清晰请直接保留 PDF。清晰度越高越清晰、也越占内存，3× 配长文档容易卡。
PPT 的动画、切换与备注不会出现。转出来的是「PDF 的那一页」，也就是静态版面；演讲者备注不在页面上，自然也不会进图片。Excel 同理：以工作簿自身的页面设置为准，分页符与打印区域决定页面切分。
尺寸怎么算。单页图片的像素 = 页面点数 × 清晰度（例如 A4 约 595×842 点，2× 就是约 1190×1684 像素）。长图是把选中的页纵向拼起来（加页间距），高度超过浏览器画布上限（16384 像素）时会拒绝并提示你降低清晰度或减少页数。
失败发生在哪一步。第一步失败（文件损坏、加密、超时、超限）不会进入第二步，页面会直接给出原因，你的原文件也不会被改动；第二步是本地渲染，失败只会影响这一次图片导出。

The first step does upload: Word / PPT / Excel to PDF must be done by the server-side document engine; the file is used only for this one conversion, deleted immediately afterwards, never written to the database, never retained, never passed to any third party. The second step is fully local: once the PDF is back in your browser, quality choice, per-page rendering, zip packaging and long-image stitching all happen in your tab via pdf.js and canvas - the PDF is never uploaded again, and closing the page drops it from memory. So the whole pipeline has exactly one upload: document to PDF.
Bitmap (PNG / JPG). Pixels = page points x quality: A4 is about 595x842 points, so 2x gives about 1190x1684 pixels - enough for screen reading; choose 3x for printing or PPT material; 1x is the smallest for previews and chat windows. Note that zooming a bitmap to its limit is never as sharp as the original PDF - if you need infinite zoom, keep the PDF.
Long-image mode stacks the selected pages vertically in order, with a 0-40px adjustable gap, outputting a single PNG or JPG. Stitching opens one very tall canvas; browsers cap one side at about 16,384 pixels and total pixels too, so with many pages or high quality the request is refused with a hint (use 'one image per page' or lower the quality then). Also, at most 50 pages render per run, and any single page above 20 megapixels is skipped with the page named.
Supported: .docx / .doc (Word), .pptx / .ppt (PowerPoint), .xlsx / .xls (Excel), and the LibreOffice / OpenOffice OpenDocument formats .odt / .ods / .odp; .pptx / .ppt cap at 50MB per file (they often embed large pictures), everything else at 20MB. Documents with an open password cannot be converted - remove the password first. Common errors are explained in plain words: unsupported format (400), over the size limit (413), conversion quota reached (429), corrupted or encrypted file (502), service temporarily unavailable (503), conversion timeout (504). Your original file is never modified under any circumstance. If you already hold a PDF, use 'PDF to image' instead - that one is fully local end to end.
