FAQ
The standard has 5 fields starting from the minute (minute hour day month weekday); Quartz has 6 fields starting from the second (second minute hour day month weekday), may add a 7th for the year, and supports ? / L / W / #. This page tells the two apart by field count automatically; the scheduled tasks in this site's admin panel (System Management, Scheduled Tasks) use the Quartz 6-field format and can be verified right here.
Star, star-slash-n, single values, ranges a-b, a-b/n, comma lists, and English names for months and weekdays (JAN, MON, MON-FRI); in Quartz mode also ? (no specific value), L (last day of month, or L-n), nW (the n-th, shifted to the nearest working day if it falls on a weekend), n#k (the k-th weekday X of the month) and 6L (the last weekday X of the month). Plain 5-field mode rejects ?/L/W/#.
Your browser's local time zone (the results area says so). This is a pure local calculation tool that connects to no server - to line up with a server running UTC, convert the offset yourself.
The expression has no legal date - typically a February 31st (0 0 12 31 2 ?); when both day-of-month and day-of-week carry concrete values, they are combined as either-matches (OR), never as an intersection.
